The Cazettes formed in late 2016 and was born out of a need to hear really quality covers at weddings and private events. As I’m sure you’ve noticed, when you reach your late 20s, everyone you know starts getting married! During this time we each saw a lot of wedding bands, and decided that playing the best songs we know on the happiest day of people’s lives was something we could get down with.
We promise - no cheesy jokes between songs, and no thrown together performances. Music is our passion, and we only play songs that we love - which we hope is clear to see when you watch us live! Caroline - Lead Vocals
Caroline has been singing and performing since a young child at Sylvia Young’s Stage School in London – famed for producing such artists as Adele and Jessie J. Not only is she a born front-woman that delights in engaging her audience, her vocal talents range from belting big hits to rapping and singing luscious harmonies. She is also an acclaimed song-writer and producer releasing original music under the alias ‘Caz9’. A multi-instrumentalist and DJ to boot, she is most well known for her electric stage presence.
Stephen - Lead vocals, electric guitar
A talented song-writer, producer, and guitarist, Stephen has been a solid part of the Irish music scene for the last 20 years. He has lent his skills to many original bands, including The Outfit, The Crayon Set, Cloudyeller, The Travelloes,Dermot Lambert and The Sea Change, playing gigs on Irish soil and in the UK including many music festivals. Stephen’s music has also been featured on television and in films. His music knowledge is second to none – and he takes great delight in all music produced before 1985, especially Motown and rock. He is happiest on stage with The Cazettes and behind his desk in his studio producing music for other artists.
Danni - Drums
Danni has been rocking the drums since she was 12 years old, studying under some of Ireland’s most renowned drummers as a student. After studying Contemporary Music and Performance at ICMP London she has now graduated with an Honours Degree in Contemporary Music from BIMM, Dublin. A regular session drummer at home and abroad, Danni has lent her drumming talents to Grace Wilde, Dermot Lambert and Niamh Crowther amongst others. She is currently drumming for a few up and coming Irish Acts, including Leila Jane and The Innocent Bystander.
Alice - bass, vocals
Alice began her love of the bass during her 20’s in her native Italy – joining a popular band called The Palconudo in her home-town of Genova. Since moving to Dublin in 2009, she has played with a huge list of original artists and continues to be in demand as her enthusiastic performances and super-groove are highly sought after by musicians and revellers alike. Alice has performed numerous times at all major Irish festivals and music venues with artists such as Liz is Evil, Pixie Cut Rhythm Orchestra, and The Magpies. She currently plays bass with up and comers Jane Willow, and Leila Jane.
